Re: Tories Election Expenses Scandal
As long as the similar Labour offences the police are also investigating are called as fraud as well, I don't mind if they throw the key away on them.

We wouldn't want double standards, after all. What do you guys reckon?

Re: Tories Election Expenses Scandal
Shhhh. We're supposed to pretend this is a trifling little thing, rather than fraud.

Otherwise, when they get away with it, it will look bad.

Is this in any way serious enough to nullify the result of the EU referendum in the event of an out victory?

Farage was robbed off his Thanet North seat due to this. The Tories ploughed in the money and more and more activists here

Re: Tories Election Expenses Scandal
As a Labour supporter I find this to be fucking embarrassing. We didn't lose because the Tories overspent on a bus. We lost because our leader was a gimp and we didn't make people enthusiastic.

We'll lose next time not because of excessive bus spending but because we chose a shit old man over the milfy one.

It's not what you know, it's WHO you know.......

A former aide to Prime Minister David Cameron has walked free from court after being convicted of downloading pictures of scantily-clad girls as young as ten in sexual poses.

Patrick Rock, who turned 65 on Wednesday, faced 20 charges of making an indecent photographs of a child.

LABOUR were dragged into the elections spending scandal engulfing the Tories tonight as it emerged at least a dozen battle bus visits were not registered by local candidates.

The party could face a host of police investigations – just like the Conservatives – after they used the same tactic of declaring the Labour Express campaigning as “national” rather than “local” spending.

Labour Express bussed activists into key seats during last year’s general election, in a similar way to the controversial Tory RoadTrip events.

Peroni

This is not a minor thing, a dozen Tory MPs breaking the law.

The question is whether the other parties have done it as well, I suspect they have.

You, we all, should be up in arms about MPs and parties breaking the law in order to get elected. The law is there for a reason.

peroni, the way the Tories acted in trying to win the London Mayoral election and the shit that's coming from Cameron's mouth in his beloved 'IN' campaign would be enough to shame any 'Leftie'.....

You think failing to declare a relatively trivial amount of expenses is 'rigging an election'?

I can explain the phenomenon of multiple votes from the same address. More than one person lives at the address. I know in your house it's just you and the lord Jesus (not allowed to vote due to him being imaginary. See Also: Noddy).
